Construction of infrastructure has started for operating bungee jumping facility at Helambu in Sindhupalchok district. Chair of Helambu rural municipality Nima Gyaljen Sherpa said what would be the district's longest and highest suspension bridge is being constructed at Helambu for this purpose.
A main celebration committee has been formed to observe the 2,563rd Buddha Jayanti (Birth Anniversary of Gautam Buddha). Paragliding service, which was said to be closed from today, has been resumed after companies, operating paragliding flights in Pokhara, agreed to pay tax to Pokhara metropolitan city. The Pokhara metropolis had warned of closing the paragliding flights from today, saying the paragliding companies have not paid tax since 2072 BS.
