The major ruling party, Nepali Congress, has formed different sub-committees to expedite preparation from the party in the upcoming parliamentary and provincial elections.
At a press conference organized today at party central office, Sanepa, on Monday, NC central member and central election mobilization committee coordinator Bal Krishna Khand shared the information that various sub-committees including publicity, monitoring and evaluation, security management, sister organizations' mobilization, well-wisher organizations mobilization, voters' education, economic prosperity and development coordination, technical, former civil service employees' coordination, art and cine artists coordination and Nepali Janasamparka Samiti coordination have been formed under the main committee.
The sub-committees are mandated to mobilize all mechanisms of the party to secure victory in the elections. Each sub-committee will work on the themes they are given.
Likewise, the party has deputed central representatives in all the districts for the preparation of the election of the first round.
NC has made public the election campaign schedule in which Prime Minister and President Sher Bahadur Deuba will address election gatherings in various constituencies across the country.
