The Ministry of Industry is all set to start the 'single point' service soon with the objective of facilitating the industrialists and entrepreneurs.
Minister of State for Industry, Resham Lama said that the Ministry has already brought a policy related to this and was in a phase of implementing it in an effective manner.
According to him, all the administrative services required for the entrepreneurs would be provided from a single place (Department of Industries). These services include registration of industries, renewal, tax, tariff, land revenue, among others.
The entrepreneurs will feel administrative convenience after getting all the services through this facility.
The foreign investors would be provided with visa as per the need and extend the term of the visa and associated works from the same place.
Preparation has been made to provide this service in other districts outside the Kathmandu valley by setting up industrial zones and industrial village.
