Bangladeshi Ambassador calls on President Bhandari

Bangladeshi Ambassador to Nepal Mashfee Binte Shams called on President Bidya Devi Bhandari at the Office of the President in Sheetal Niwas today. 
On the occasion, President Bhandari expressed sorrow over the demise of Bangladeshi citizens in the crash involving US-Bangla airlines plan at the TIA on Monday and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. She also conveyed, through the Ambassador, heartfelt condolences to her Bangladeshi counterpart, according to the Office of the President.

100-year-old copper mine being reopened; other mines being examined

Almost a 100-year-old copper mine in Gorkha district is about to be reopened.
