Police have arrested two persons in connection with the murder case of Sajan Mukhiya, a jeweler from Birtamode.
21 – year – old Suraj Chaudhary aka Mama Bhanja from Biratamode – 5 and 22 – year – old Rajesh Sah aka Rahul from Birtamode – 3 have been arrested.
The District Court Jhapa on Monday ordered the extension of the custody of the two for further investigation, District Police Office, Jhapa said.
The police had earlier arrested Paras Kumar Dev, 29, of Sainikmode, Birtamode – 3, Dipesh Poudel, 19, of Triveni tole in Birtamode – 8 and Chiranjibi Oli, 23, of Birtamode – 3 in accusation of murdering the entrepreneur.
Preliminary police investigation has indicated business related motive for the murder of the entrepreneur, said Superintendent of Police, Bishnu KC, of District Police Office, Jhapa.
Sajan, a proprietor of the Deva Jewellers located near the Gorkha Departmental Store in Birtamode, went missing on March 4, 2018. His body was found inside a jute sack 20 feet below the Jamunedanda section along the Lasune – Aryachowk road stretch nine days after his disappearance.
The police had filed cases of abduction, physical detention, murder and robbery and organized crime against the three arrested earlier.
