Continuous rains for the next three days have been predicted across the country. The Meteorological Forecasting Division has issued a press statement today, forecasting the rains for the next three days across the country.
Most parts of the country are likely to experience light to moderate rains while heavy rains have been predicted at some places.
some parts in the central and western Nepal are expected to witness heavy rains in this period. As per the Division latest updates, Kathmandu recorded 5.2 millimeter rains while Biratnagar experienced 48 mm, Taplejung 20 mm, Simara 20 mm, Pokhara 22 mm and Dhangadhi recorded 48 mm rains.
Today's maximum temperature of the Kathmandu Valley was measured at 28.5 degree Celsius while the minimum temperature was 20.8 degree Celsius.
The first academic session of one-year national youth leadership studies programme has been completed. The one-year course titled "Nepali Emerging Leaders Programme" jointly launched by the US-based Joan B Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice- University of San Diego; and the Kathmandu-based Leadership Academy last January from Kathmandu concluded today at Janakpur.
