Nepali Congress has officially announced a protest against the current government. The current government is under KP Sharma Oli. In the press statement, Nepali Congress's general secretary Shashanka Koirala said that the party decided to protest a rally on all district headquarters on July 31 against the incumbent government accusing it of endorsement of policies against public sentiments.
NC has urged all locals and party members and supporters to participate in the protest.
Nepali Congress has also criticized the current government for breach of the constitutional provision. The provision states the concept of electing a speaker and a deputy speaker of federal parliament from 2 different parties.
NC says that the government exercised above-said power in the center against the spirit of federalism, unnecessary interference in the independent judiciary and bypassing the officials from constitutional bodies. There are many other points that the Nepali Congress has to offer towards this protest.
NC says that the government's decisions are all against the public mandate. The party has shown its concerned over the decision made by the government to defer all consequences created after Dr. Govinda KC's hunger strike.Tags - Nepali Congress , Government , Politics
Nepali Congress (NC) leader and member of House of Representatives, Jeep Tshering Lama has handed over five ambulances to local governments of Dolakha. Lama handed over the ownership of ambulances to Tamakoshi rural municipality-3, Jafe, Kalinchowk rural municipality-9, Jiri municipality-1, Melung rural municipality-6 and Bigu rural municipality.
