The fifth edition of Ekadeshma International Short Film Festival has rebounded back at QFX Kumari, Kamalpokhari on 17th November. The festival is three day long (17th November to 19th November), showcasing the 99 diversified landscape and intriguing storylines from 43 countries.
EIFF bangs on each year through contemporary theme. This year, the theme is polished as Let there be light, switching on the positivity side for Nepali viewers. Short movies deliberately exhibit the character roles, storylines and content in a small pint of time. In between those short periods, movie manages to chain the audiences in their seat- So short and tempting at the same time.
This year, Ekadeshma will feature films that celebrate womanhood from all over the world with this year’s thematic focus “Power”. Power tends to construct a gender role in social, political and cultural array accompanied by commemorating the dedication of women in cinema facet.
Talented actress Manisha Koirala will be leading as main jury for Ekadeshma International Short Film Festival. She will be joined by Paolo Bertolin and Mostofa Sarwar Farooki for Changing Perspectives Section. This section features the in-depth analysis within the cryptic narratives.
