Unilever Nepal continues earning more profit: Profit rises by 3.54%

Unilever Nepal is continuing to earn a profit in Nepal. It has officially hit the 999 million mark, now earning Rs. 999.4 million. They hit the benchmark in the fiscal year 2074/75. The net profit of Unilever Nepal stood at Rs. 9.65 million in the last fiscal. Unilever says there has been a 3.54% rise in profit.

During the review period, Unilever Nepal attributed to the increase in profit to increase in production and sales of the goods by 9% during the review period. 

The sales of Unilever has reached Rs. 4.8 billion, which is 0.4 billion more than last fiscal.

Unilever now has a total reserve fund of Rs. 1.8 billion, with a paid-up capital for Rs. 92.1 million. As of right now, the assets of Unilever is worth Rs. 3.2 billion.

NRB to supply new bank notes on other festivals too

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is to implement the inclusive rule in exchanging the new bank notes. The central bank, which had been providing the facility of exchanging new notes in large quantity only during the Bada Dashain period before this, is to extend this facility on the occasion of festivals of other indigenous nationalities and linguistic communities also.
