Attorney General, Agni Prasad Kharel, has said that the media should be sensitive while disseminating news related to heinous crime. Inaugurating the programme, 'Journalist Code of Conduct and Language Training', organised by Lalitpur chapter of Federation of Nepali Journalists here today, Kharel said that media should not disseminate news hampering the investigation.
Seven suicide bombers took part in the devastating attacks on churches and luxury hotels in Sri Lanka that killed 290 people and wounded more than 500, a senior investigator said on Monday. The Metropolitan Crime Division of Nepal Police has arrested a person for allegedly amassing huge amount of money by promising around 20 youth to send in the lucrative destinations. Proprietor of Putalisadak-based Gates Consultancy Ganesh Dhakal, 34, of Palpa district was arrested on Wednesday for collecting Rs 15 million in cash from those youth, police confirmed.
