TCN distributes 90,000 cubic feet timber for house reconstruction

The Timber Corporation of Nepal (TCN) has distributed 90,000 cubic feet timber for house reconstruction in the Kathmandu valley. TCN general manager Raju Laudari said the corporation supplied this quantity of timber for the reconstruction of 2,450 houses in Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur.

Over 4,000 quake-damaged schools reconstructed till date

Four thousand one hundred and ninety school structures out of the total schools that were damaged by the Gorkha Earthquake of April, 2015 have been rebuilt so far. Of the schools reconstructed, 3368 were rebuilt through the school management committees (SMCs), 64 through the contractors 758 through the non-governmental organizations.
