An expectant mother of Chargaun at Puthauttar Ganga Rural Muncipality-8 in Rukum East district, who was suffering complications in her delivery, has been rescued to a well-equipped health facility in Nepalgunj. Milana Malla, 20, was rescued in a Nepal Army helicopter to Bheri Zonal Hospital in Nepalgunj, Banke today.

23 Nepali girls rescued from Mizoram

Twenty-three Nepali girls about to be taken to a third country on the pretext of foreign employment have been rescued from India. The girls were rescued with the support of the Indian government from the northern State of Mizoram of India. The girls were handed over to Nepali authorities in the border transit of Kakarvitta this morning.

The Bhaktapur-based Manav Kalyan Society (Human Welfare Society), Bhaktapur, has rescued over 100 children and women from the streets in a year. Woman suffering from excessive bleeding rescued

A woman who was at risk of losing her life after she suffered excessive bleeding was rescued from a remote village in the district. A Nepal Army helicopter rescued her from Nepka village in ward no. 5 of Changkheli rural municipality. Reuli Tamang had a miscarriage on March 12 and since then she was suffering from continuous bleeding.

Embassy rescues 23 stranded Nepalis in Malaysia

The Nepali Embassy in Malaysia has rescued 23 Nepali nationals from various places in Malaysia and sent them home. The workers stranded in various places were rescued and sent back to Nepal, the embassy said. The embassy even had managed the air fare to them.

NC calls for rescuing Nepali students in trouble in Australia

700 tourists rescued

Some 700 tourists stranded after a snowfall at Kalinchowk of Dolakha district have been rescued by the police persons. A joint team of Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force rescued nearly 120 tourists with the use of vehicles, while others were taken to safe places all on foot.

Children rescued from street desperate for reunion with families

Dawa Magar who was Wednesday rescued from the street in Kathmandu used to survive on people's charity. The 10-year-old boy from Gaighat of Udyapur had made the Chabahil area as his home as a street child.
